from the vault.

a long time ago I took polaroid portraits of my friends. I have since broke two sx-70's and am no longer able to take such crisp polaroids. anyways, these are two of my favourite portraits i took. its so strange how the colors in each one are so different. using mostly expired 600 film with an sx-70 is always a gamble, sometimes the colors look dreamy or bitter, sometimes they look pretty true (as Cory's does.) I hope that with christmas coming up I will maybe get some money to buy another sx-70!

brighter.

These are the things I do:
I enjoy fall days.
I drink good coffee in well lit places.
I play basketball, or just throw the ball around.
I hang out with my best friends.
I go to Pops and ALWAYS take a photobooth.
I like living in San Francisco, I walk by pretty things too often.

Saturday, November 1

Fox.

My astounding friend Lana came over dressed as a fox yesterday. She put together the costume with a digital sewing machine and all her love and magic. We took a few photos before she departed to a party in a Vet's building. Lana is amazing and her costume is perfect.

Also, I dressed like a tired college professor for a few hours. It was fun, drag is good.

Adventure Friends.

I think I've been everywhere since the last time I posted, and instead of being armed with a polaroid or digital, I've been shooting with 35 mm film. I did shoot some digital these past few days, as I travelled to Santa Rosa and destroyed the 440 Club with Miriam and hung out in Oakland with Chris Jehly. I have two rolls of film to get developed, and I am super excited and cant wait to get them posted! So, check back soon please!
