Fall.

Yesterday was the epitome of Fall. It was crisp and chilly out, Miles and I rented scary movies and spent along time laying in bed and harassing each other. We bundled up in scarves, hats, leggings, and north face gear and rode to Rainbow to get dinner supplies. It was so cold! I was in my house for all of 22 hours yesterday and it was just what I needed. I feel super refreshed and ready to get shit down today, including a girls craft night at 7 and the tackling of a pumpkin pie recipe. I took these polaroids while we were out walking around in search of a costume for Miles. Miles said the photo of him and I could have been taken "anywhere" so I wrote the date and address on it. Take that!

Scarlet Halloween

I am surprised I'm posting right now. I was responsible tonight! I didn't drink too much, I rode my bike home safely, and its almost 1. Still early. I mean, early enough. I have to be to work at 9 tomorrow. Fuck. Anyways! I'm rambling! Tonight was an all girl-scarlet-halloween. It was amazing. The girls had the house totally decked out, everyone dressed up super cute, and it was pretty much all titties, most of the night! We listened to Mariah and plenty of TPain, not too mention some serious MGMT. Haw! Anyways, I had a fuckin awesome time, I only wish I wasnt cursed with a job that beckons me out of sweet sweet slumber so early! I took about 200 photos tonight, woo! I am posting quite a bit, but trust me, they are all key and essential to the night. I rode my bike home with the camera slung over my shoulder and tried to shoot my ride down Valencia...it was totally dangerous and I DO NOT recommend a buzzed, helmet less, bike riding and snapshot taking adventure. Okay, I need to crawl into bed. Thank you beauteous Scarlets for hosting such a fucking RAD party. Thank you everyone who let me photograph YOU! Thanks also, to the cops who showed up for not being TOTAL dicks, and guessing that I was dressed as "Wheres Waldo".

Last night I drank too much beer and Drew put a bag on his head and did crunches. I also met a rad New Zealander who had a tattoo of a Tomato beating up a Banana.

California Academy of Sciences

I forgot to mention, Miles and I went to the California Academy of Sciences and it was AMAZING! We spent a few hours there and hung out with albino gators, sea bass, and the universe. Anyways, Miles snapped a bunch of shots which you can see on his flickr. He took a nice photo of me, and this beautiful one of the rainforest. YAY!

I've been feeling really bummed on photography lately, especially Polaroid. Not only does it suck ass that film is so expensive and hard to find, but half the time I get it its expired and looks like shit. I've also broke two sx-70's in two months while working on the parasitic twin project and I might be too broke to buy another. Bummer. I think I've buried myself in a weird creative rut, and instead of making art or taking photo's I've been reading too many zines and acting too domestic. I had the day off today and I baked this vegan cake- it was really fun and I had fun taking photos along the way. I'm hoping this creative slump will wear off, but until then, please enjoy the pleasantries.
