salt water pools

I was lucky enough to get away from the city and spend a few days in a little section of the woods full of sleeping deer, salt water pools and lavender. I took some photos, a bunch actually, mostly expired polaroid film, but there was one new pack.
More to come.

distractions!

The next week or so will be pretty slow in the blogging sphere- I am moving into a beautiful castle on June 1st and im horribly behind on my packing and cleaning! But, while I was packing up my polaroids I found a few that I thought were especially nice...almost all of these were taken with my sx-70 which has got me longing for one again...I still can't believe i broke TWO in SIX months. BUNK!
Anyways, goodbye blogging world, atleast for the next week and a half!!!

The Universe.

The last one was not taken in Black and White. It was really over exposed and I thought it looked better in Black and White. If B&W polaroid film wasnt so damn hard to find and expensive, I would shoot primarily in it! I used photoshop to take some of the yellow out of the expired film photos. Two of the photos were taken with new film, and were not adjusted. Its crazy how different the feel is with expired film.

Also, I am still looking for models to do some of these double exposure shoots. Let me know if you are interested! Thanks to those of you who are reading/looking at my blog, I really appreciate it!

Parisitic Twins

I have a large batch of expired film and have this idea for a parasitic/abnormal/conjunction of the bodies portrait series. I am practicing shots of Miles, the baby cat, and myself before someone comes over and stands in front of my camera. We took these last night with the sx-70 and old 600 film. I messed with the colorbalance slightly on photoshop to eliminate some of the yellows, but they are all double exposed photos. Fun! Come over and be my model, you have to listen to creepy parasitic twin music, but its fun because I'll make cookies or something.

Expired! Expired! Read All About It!

Expired film is a bitch. Sometimes it shows you magical colors. Sometimes it makes your hot and sexy friends look like grandparents. Sometimes it doesnt matter because its still a polaroid and you love it. So, if expired film is so difficult, why do I use it? Its cheaper and its a gamble. Duh.
