The 500 club discontiued their Polaroid photobooth, a fucking shame! But with the hike in costs and discontinuation of the film, I can kind of understand why. Instead of just going cold turkey on the photobooth action, they replaced the old Polaorid machine with a digital one. Not as cool, but still leaves for good times with your pals.

Adventure Friends.

I think I've been everywhere since the last time I posted, and instead of being armed with a polaroid or digital, I've been shooting with 35 mm film. I did shoot some digital these past few days, as I travelled to Santa Rosa and destroyed the 440 Club with Miriam and hung out in Oakland with Chris Jehly. I have two rolls of film to get developed, and I am super excited and cant wait to get them posted! So, check back soon please!

Partners.

Miles is the genius behind these photos. He took them, he developed the negatives, and he erased the dust and grit in photoshop. These photos were taken while I was working on the "Circus" themed photos of Kathleen and Alex. If you click on them they will get large and you can see how beautiful they turned out. I am really impressed by the range of color and depth you can find in them, its quite amazing.
These photos were taken with a borrowed medium format camera, and I think the one of me is both creepy and sad. I kind of look like a tough mom or something.

Best Friends with Two Heads

Last night my two best friends came over and I took their portrait. We put on glitter and drank beers and fuckin danced. I worked the door at Club 6 for awhile, got some free beers and met alot of really nice people. Anyways, here are the double exposed photos I took of Maura and Lana. After taking these my camera fell off its makeshift tripod and I think its broken, again. Either I will fix it, or buy a new one. Fucking Bummer!
p.s. I really liek the individual shots of Lana and Maura. They look like movie stars.

Hamms and Headaches and Descendants.

On Wednesday it was $1 Hamms night at Pops. I fell out of a cab. It wasnt moving, so no worries! The DJ's played Descendants at my request and it was amazing.
Anyways, no more $1 dollar Hamms. Too much headache, but cheap for the pockets!

The Universe.

The last one was not taken in Black and White. It was really over exposed and I thought it looked better in Black and White. If B&W polaroid film wasnt so damn hard to find and expensive, I would shoot primarily in it! I used photoshop to take some of the yellow out of the expired film photos. Two of the photos were taken with new film, and were not adjusted. Its crazy how different the feel is with expired film.
